MANCHESTER CITY’S SHAKY START ADVANTAGE TO LIVERPOOL.

Liverpool is sitting comfortably at the top with 8 points between them and second-placed champions Manchester City.

Manchester City’s shaky start to this season may affect them seriously at the tail end of the season if Liverpool will continue with the form they are now. The Spanish winger Adama Traore’s  2 goals in the 80th and 90th minutes in the second half of Manchester City’s match with Wolverhampton on Sunday 06/10/2019 saw them drop 3 vital points at home.

Chelsea leapfrogged to 4th position on the log after thrashing  Southampton 4:1. While Newcastle United inflicted more woes on Manchester United thanks to 19year old Matthew Longstaff powerful strike in the 72nd minute in the second half of the match at St. James’ Park. Arsenal defeated Bournemouth at Emirate Stadium with a lone goal scored by David Luiz at the 9th minute of the first half. Arsenal is now in 3rd position with 15points, scoring 13 and conceding 11 goals after 8 games.

ELSEWHERE IN EUROPE

Juventus top Serie A after defeating Inter Milan in San Siro on Sunday night by 2:1; the former Argentine International Gonzalo Higuain scored the winner after coming on from the bench. Juventus now have 19 points after playing seven matches, winning 6 and drawing 1, scoring 13 goals and conceding 6.

While  Inter Milan has 18 points from seven matches, winning 6 and lost 1 scoring 14, and conceding 4 goals. Atalanta is in 3rd Positon on the Log after 7 seven matches played, won 5 drawn one and lost one.

Had scored 18 and conceded 10 goals this 2019/2020 season. While in the German Bundesliga after 7 matches played this season, Monchengladbach top the league with 16 points, after winning 5 drawing 1 and losing 1 while the second-placed Wolfsburg won  4 drew 3 and scored 10 conceded 4 goals. Bayern Munich is in 3rd place with 14 points having won 4, drawn 2 and lost 1 of their matches this season as we all go to the FIFA International break.
