Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in conjunction with their NIRSAL Microfinance Bank is offering individuals, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) COVID-19 loan support.
The loan doesn’t require collateral to access, your tribe, state of origin, the local government area you came from doesn’t stop you from accessing the COVID-19 loan. The approval for the loan had been on, if you had applied you will receive SMS that says your loan application had been approved for you to accept the terms and conditions of the loan.
It is not a grant, it is a loan and you need to pay it back through Nirsal MFB bank that will be opened to you after you have received the loan through the commercial bank account number you provided while applying for the loan. The loan duration is 12 months moratorium and 36 months repayment period.

- Log on to https://covid19.nmgb.com.ng
- Choose the loan you had applied for Household or SME
- Enter your BVN.
- When you input your BVN, the following will be displayed:
(i) If it says your Loan has been approved, it’ll load your details asking you to just accept your Loan provide. Proceed to finish the method and enter your bank name and your account number. Be very careful here.
(ii) If it says ‘Your loan has not been approved, check back later, kindly check back later as the same.
(iii) If it but displays “BVN doesn’t exist”, don’t panic. simply keep checking back from time to time as approval is ongoing and hope is high.
