The Federal Government of Nigeria had launched Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme which will provide job opportunities for graduates in the country.
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJEP) which was launched on 31st August 2021, is a plan to empower fresh graduates with work.
The Nigeria government says that the programme is in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The plan is to place 20,000 skilled young Nigerian graduates (under the age bracket of 30) inside jobs for private and public sector organizations around the country.
The duration of the jobs is 12 months, they will be fully paid and it will help the new graduates be prepared for their future careers and help them with work environments.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JUBILEE FELLOWS PROGRAM
The Federal Government of Nigeria is targeting only Nigerians for the scheme.
Na for fresh graduate (Bachelor Degree) from any discipline, not more dan 30 years old wey don graduate no earlier than 2017 and wey no get work.
This is for fresh graduates (Bachelor Degree) from any discipline, not more than 30 years old that had graduated not earlier than 2017 that is not yet employed.
The graduate must have completed the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or had a certificate of exemption from NYSC.
The application form for this program shall be available on the official website from 6th September 2021 to 20th October 2021.
The high-performing Jubilee Fellows shall be retained by the organizations they worked with after the duration of one year which they worked with them.
More so, those that are interested in entrepreneurship may have gotten enough skills and knowledge, and experience that will help them start on their own.
